Self-Practice Self-Reflection Workshop with Joan Farrell & Ida Shaw

  • 20 Jun 2015
  • 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM (UTC-04:00)
  • The Schema Therapy Institute, London, The Courtyard, Fulham Palace Bishop’s Avenue, London SW6 6EA

This workshop is appropriate for both new and more experienced Schema Therapists, this workshop aims to deepen the therapist’s knowledge of their own Schemas and Modes and understand their operation in the treatment room. This self awareness will help move the therapist towards the genuine, open presence required for limited re-parenting. Schema Self-therapy offers personal benefits in terms of self awareness and healing for the therapist’s own Vulnerable Child mode. What we learn from our own experiences cannot be taught by classroom teaching and for this reason Schema Training in a group is a requirement for ISST Group Schema training certification, and this workshop fulfills that requirement. It can also be used to meet the three supervision hours credit to meet individual Schema Training certification supervision requirements.
