Responsibilities of the Vice President of the ISST Board

The Vice President is responsible for

  1. Taking charge of all procedures and problems related to membership including ensuring that membership processes on the website are functioning effectively, managing new applications for membership, and responding to requests concerning membership.

  2. Reviewing the functioning of all ISST committees and ensuring that they are operating satisfactorily within their terms of reference.

  3. Contributing to Events Committee in the organization of event such as the biennial INSPIRE conference and ENLIGHT workshops.

  4. Attending the monthly online meetings of the Executive Board (as well as longer meetings that are held at ISST Events) and engaging actively with the current issues being addressed by the Board.

  5. Supporting the President when requested

In addressing these tasks, the Vice-President must work closely with the virtual office manager and Media Coordinator, where appropriate.

Time commitment:  6-8 hours a week.
